There comes a point where pushing through no longer works.

Where being strong, holding it together, and doing more…

Just feels exhausting.

Your nervous system is tired.

Your body feels tight.

Your mind won’t switch off.

And deep down, what you’re really craving isn’t another strategy.

It’s relief.

Stillness.

Support.

This is your invitation to soften.

Imagine leaving feeling lighter in your body.

Clearer in your mind.

Steadier in your emotions.

Your shoulders no longer gripping.

Your breath no longer shallow.

Your thoughts no longer racing.

Instead, grounded.

Regulated.

Deeply rested.

Yin & Pins is designed to guide you from overstimulated and overwhelmed… into calm, spacious, and gently restored.

What is Yin & Pins?

A deeply nourishing 90-minute fusion of:

  • Restorative Yin Yoga

  • Acupuncture (Pins)

  • Blue Lotus Tea Ritual

  • Sound Healing Meditation

  • A calm, candlelit atmosphere

  • Space to simply be

We begin with a grounding ritual and blue lotus tea — traditionally associated with relaxation and expanded awareness — gently transitioning you from the outer world into stillness.

You’ll then be guided into long-held, supported yin postures, allowing the body to soften layer by layer.

While you rest, fine acupuncture needles are gently placed to support your nervous system, encourage energetic flow, and help unwind stored tension beneath the surface.

As your body settles, you’ll be immersed in sound-healing meditation — soothing vibrations that quiet the mind and invite deep parasympathetic rest.

💡New to Acupuncture?

The needles used are ultra-fine — much thinner than medical needles. Most people feel little to no discomfort, and many don’t feel them at all. You’re always in control, and participation is optional, adjusted to your comfort level.

Sounds exactly what you need?

What You’ll Walk Away With

Step away from the session noticing:

  • A softer, calmer body and mind, with slower, more relaxed breathing

  • Tension easing in the shoulders, jaw, and neck

  • A feeling of being fully “back in your body” and grounded

  • A gentler emotional flow and quieter mental chatter

  • Sleep that feels deeper and more restorative

Who is Yin and Pins for?

This experience may be especially supportive if you are:

  • Mentally busy or emotionally stretched

  • Physically tight or energetically depleted

  • Navigating a season of transition

  • Struggling with sleep or nervous system overwhelm

  • Holding stress in your body

FAQs

Everything you need to feel comfortable, informed, and confident before booking.

I’m nervous about acupuncture. What does it feel like?

The needles are extremely fine — much thinner than those used for injections. Most people feel little to no discomfort, perhaps a subtle sensation, warmth, or gentle heaviness.

Participation in acupuncture is entirely optional. You can choose to opt out and still enjoy the rest of the experience (restorative yin yoga, meditation, and sound healing) fully supported and guided throughout.

Our acupuncturist will explain everything beforehand and ensure you feel comfortable and supported at all times.

I’ve never done yin yoga before. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Yin is slow, supported, and accessible to all levels. You’ll be gently guided into comfortable shapes using props, and everything is invitational.

What should I wear?

Wear what will help you feel comfortable and relaxed. Soft, stretchy, or active leisurewear is perfect — clothing that lets you move freely for gentle yin yoga and lets you fully relax during the session. Layers are encouraged so you can stay cosy while resting.

What should I bring?

We encourage you to bring:

• A yoga mat

• A cushion or bolster

• A blanket

• Socks to keep your toes warm

• A towel

• Water

If you don’t have your own props, we have mats and bolsters available to borrow, though bringing your own can make the experience feel cosier and more personal.

What if I don’t want to drink the herbal tea?

That’s completely okay. The tea is optional — you’re welcome to simply sit with the ritual in a way that feels right for you.
